A truly excellent organization -Try it=you'll like it!

This my 2nd home...I love this library! I love reading and writing.. I'm an advocate for education and literacy. There are numerous activities and programs for the entire community, for all age groups, at this library, including free computer sessions, day and night. Lots of books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs to check out. This is truly a multicultural community. Movie afternoon and book reads are available too. Babies, children, teens, young adults, and adults have so much to choose from. Me? I can spend an entire day reading, writing, and browsing the shelves. And, using the computer to check my email, print, and to surf the web.nIn addition, I pick up the free publications, Connecticut Parent, Kids & Family and the Hamden/North Haven Adult & Continuing Education catalogue for Spring/Winter 2020. So much information I obtain from these resources. This library is truly a community gem.nI purchase gently used books from the Second Hand Prose bookstore, located at the lower level. I purchase the culinary and African American Studies, cultural, and inspirational books to send to my daughter who lives in another state. And, I am rebuilding my library of all the books that I love.nLots of Ample parking space including handicapped parking.nNeed ear buds, US postal stamps, a handy bag for your books, or an envelope? No worries, the main entrance circulation desk has these items, and more, for patons to purchase. The library staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

I love this library it amazing there are computers for kids and for adults the kids one has everything the kids need to learn also you don’t need a library card to get in the computers and it’s a big library there is also a place where teens can go and hang out with there friends very quiet also there is a bathroom there which is clean

Great place, WiFi to login to the internet on your phone or laptop or both. Some comfy chairs too. Very good place to spend a day. Some days I will work here for some hours. There is some noise at times but it is usually quiet enough to hear my mouse clicks.
