I cannot rave enough about IMX Pilates of North Branford. I am now 35 weeks pregnant and have been going to them at least 2-3x a week throughout my entire pregnancy. All of the instructors are so skilled and accommodating. With every stage of my pregnancy they modified the classes to fit my needs so I could still participate. Pilates has helped me stay lean and strong and has even prevented me from having any back pain. My husband even says I look even more fit pregnant than I did before :-)
I am in the process of recovering from a spinal cord injury which has left me with limited mobility and the loss of muscle mass (core and legs). My wife and I have been taking semi-private reformer classes with Carol for a couple of months. The workout is catered to my rehab needs and has been very helpful in aiding my recovery. Carol is an RN and fully understands body mechanics and many different Pilates techniques. In addition, she is very positive and encouraging. We highly recommend IMX Pilates of North Branford, CT for both regular classes and in cases such as mine which are geared to special rehabilitation concerns.
