One of the oldest residences in Madison. I am struck by the height of the front door. I don't know if the people about age we're significantly shorter, or it was done to conserve Heat when it was opened. I suspect a bit of both. If you happen by When the grave house is open Oh, it is a must-see.
It's a beautiful old house with over 300 years of history to learn about.
