special ordered a sipping tequila for me and happily procured it within 24 hours. They called to let me know when it arrived in the store for me to pick up. Just Awesome Customer Service!
If we're in town we'll definitely go here again. The staff was the most friendly and helpful I've EVER encountered in a wine/spirits shop. Had great suggestions based on styles we picked, and even had us put a bottle back because she was concerned that it was part of a bad batch and didn't want our family dinner ruined. Local beers they recommended were great as well.
Now occupying the space and the purpose of the former Madison wine shop, the Wine Thief carries on the tradition of Excellence. I still am haunted by the memories of Madison Hardware when I go inside. This building has seen a lot of change. Wine Thief is a change for the good.
