Had a great experience at the Old Saybrook store. Brittany was wonderful, she helped me in picking out frames and in adjusting them when I had dropped then stepped on them! I really don't knew if I would have bought glasses that day without her because the choices were overwhelming. She really was able to offer me frames I love! Will definitely go back there.

I've been here only two times but both times I had such amazing support and genuine care from the staff here. My last visit was yesterday on July 22nd I was just a walk-in for my lens to be fixed within my frame. I went to my eye doctors for the fix multiple times. Each time the lenses were never correctly placed into the frame. I pointed it out to her the second time and expressed what she should have been able to see when examining them but they returned in the same condition I brought them in. They were also returned 24 hours. She must've been either rushing lots of glasses or did not care to try.nEventually, like I predicted, my right lens popped out. This time I was not going to waste my breath.nI went to LensCrafters and I only waited 5 minutes maximum until a very kind woman came out, had me sit at the little bar area and asked what had happened. Inexplained, handed them to her and right there she turned around to her tools and fixed my glasses. Not even 60 seconds. I've never witnessed the lens sit correctly ever since I got these new frames. I'm so relieved and feel comfortable now too. Thank you!

The staff was very cordial and helpful especially given COVID. However, I was mis-prescribed pretty severely. From 2016-2020 I had consistently been in the -3.5 to -3.75 range in both eyes, and when I was at the Old Saybrook location I was told I went from a -3.75 to around a -2.75. While I tried out the prescription exclusively for a week as suggested, I found that the blurriness did not improve. When I moved to San Francisco, I got re-tested and found that I was around a -3.75 in both eyes again, as expected. I am disappointed that I spent money on the glasses and visit, and subsequently could not use insurance CoPay at my San Francisco visit as a result of this misdiagnosis.
