I have been in churches all over the world for more than 35 years. Valley Shore is one of the most welcoming and genuinely loving congregations I have ever encountered. The male and female leadership all treated me with respect and welcomed me personally. The worship was honest and real and I could tell the musicians were focusing on the throne and not on impressing me or anyone else. And there were normal, happy young people participating in the life of the church.--a sure sign of the health of any church since the youth have a keenly developed BS-ometer! :) I was very impressed with the joy and humility in each person I encountered. All in all, I would recommend Valley Shore without reservation. This is a body of believers who are real and loving and imperfectly beautiful. If you want a real church family, this would be the place to find one.

Valley Shore is full of welcoming and nonjudgmental people. Both pastors are incredible people both in the church and outside. I have had multiple non-Christian friends visit the church with me, and they felt welcomed and not out of place. Anyone who leaves a bad review about the people there either has a personal vendetta or had a unusual personal experience. Ignore what you hear about abuse in other reviews, because the leaders fight for the safety and security of those in the church, both mentally and physically, even if that means having to kick a member out or call the cops. The church body is full of love and compassion, but they do not let themselves be manipulated by people.

Great local Church I love to worship here when I'm not able to get to my home Church.

Valley Shore has a culture of honor that is rarely seen in many churches today. I visited for a conference, and didn't expect such a welcoming atmosphere, as the Senior Pastors Marios & Danielle Ellinas have a father and mother's heart for people. This evidently trickles down to the members of their church, as I felt a sense of inclusion and belonging while I was there, even though I was only visiting for a few days.
