I had my tints done only to find contamination in two windows. the windows that were done correctly look good but inspect your car before you leave. as they are not replacing my tints...

Posting to help anyone avoid avoid issues if you’re looking for a tint place in Meriden! BLACK OUT TINTS made a mistake on my car & won’t own up to it. I’ve had 2 cars tinted here and never had any issues! April 27th of this year I had my most recent car done. I haven’t used my rear defrosters all Summer. Now with the weather changing I noticed they weren’t working. I took my car to VW and paid to have it diagnosed. They said the rear defroster grid was damaged by whoever put the tints in. I called BLACK OUT and explained what happened. I was just looking for them to offer something to make the issue right. Instead, the owner who’s name I didn’t get, proceeded to speak to me like it’s my fault they aren’t working in a very unprofessional and condescending manner. Apparently according to him if you have a 5% tint on your rear window your defroster won’t work? When did this happen? I’ve always had a 5% without any issues on any car.nnHe claims they don’t use tools that can damage this, every other tint place I’ve talked to about it said this guy just doesn’t want to own up to his mistake. He hasn’t even looked at the car so he’s just being defensive over the phone! Be warned about this shop!

Definitely would recommend they did a great and professional job I chose to come here to get my windows tinted for the first time definitely would be going back in the future. Fair pricing, got it done quick, and it came out looking great.
