Best place to visit during fall season. It has got everything right from open space for games, hiking trails and a small beach on the river front. The park is very conveniently located in the heart of the greens and has ample parking spaces at multiple locations. Will definitely recommend this one.
Well it has been a few years but this has a rustic atmosphere.. I lived on the Madison Beach and would take my 400 yamaha enduro there.. I have friends in Killingworth and they tell me little has changed.. I love all Ct State Parks I have been to.. Really just a change of pace with soo many deer to marvel at.. A great family getaway.. Bring a lunch or dinner and Enjoy ud83dudd24ud83dude00ud83dudc1fud83dudc21
Beautiful park. Very well maintained. A beautiful serene lake. Covered bridge. Waterwheel. Lots of trials.
Great hiking, beautiful area. Love the water wheel at the upper pond and the caves. Lots to explore. Would be 5 stars but my husband got a leech stuck to the bottom of his foot after spending 10 minutes in the water at the swimming area. Gross.
Absolutely beautiful park in the middle of the woods. Bring some lunch or a book and just relax with nature. Great for kids too.
