Loved the ambiance and views from the train. Food was very good. Seating could use some comfort upgrades and I really wish you could find the lighting, even if, it was just on your area to see outside at night
Excellent time and a wonderful experience. We went on their Ribs and Rum night last year. Wouldn't have missed it for the world this year. And we are already making plans to bring a large group next year. Guaranteed you won't be disappointed. Magical and Memorable evening out every time.
The Essex Train Station was a cool place to start my ride on the river train and the riverboat. There are plenty of trains to look at here. There are some diesel trains here and other steam trains. You can see Pullman cars that are for the dinner trains and other coaches for general tours.
Had an excellent time. Hard to pick whether I had more fun on the steam train or the steam boat. A fun trip back in time.
The dinner train was awesome again!!! If you have never tried the dinner train you need to experience it at least once !!! The food is delicious....
