My wife and I bought this classic wing chair about 35 years ago. It has been reupholstered several times. When it needed the work this time we heard about Oak and Velvet and gave them a call. We were, to say the least, extremely pleased from start to finish.nnEveryone at Oak and Velvet is very professional, helpful and nice people to do business with. The owner is very involved and takes pride in the work accomplished by his company. We felt comfortable from the very beginning of the project and delighted at delivery. I can say these people are real artisans. The fabric is striped and every stripe is perfectly matched on the chair, cushion and ottoman. I have to add, pricing is very reasonable.nnYou'll find this hard to believe, but they had an opening in their schedule and we got the chair a few days after it was dropped off. I can't say this would be the norm, but it certainly was industrious on their part and our lucky day.nnBoth my wife and I highly recommend Oak and Velvet and will defiantly use them again.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experiences I have had working with Oak and Velvet on numerous occasions. The owner, Michael, is professional, very accommodating, pleasant and eager to please. I have purchased a sectional couch, side chair and ottoman,drapery, bedroom bench and a couch for my daughter. Michael and his staff were so helpful in helping me to choose styles, fabrics, pillows, etc.nNot only did they come out to my home prior to my purchase to take measurements they also came to my house with the frame of the sectional prior to upholstering it to be certain it fit the space! I could not ask for more. I love every piece i purchased and will continue to do business with Oak and Velvet.

Placed a custom curtain order six months ago. Order was finally completed yesterday. While the excuses I received over this span were entertaining, I'm still not entirely clear on why this happened. The only thing I know for sure is that I do not recommend this business.
