Writing as a kayaking non-fisherman. The parking lot is large, small boat launch. the shore is lined with rocks, except for the boat launch so there is not a good options for grass launching a kayak, I recommend stepping in from the water. there was a port-a-potty as of writing this. The lake itself is fairly empty with very dense vegetation coming right to the waters edge leaving you with a walled in feeling and you will not be able to see into the woods from the water. There are a few houses on the lake, but not enough to detract from nature. Did not see much in the way of wildlife. Still enjoyable paddling, Would have to come back and re-evaluate.
