Great people and a great place. Marvelous book selection.
I usually find the staff to be friendly, but I had an encounter with a woman who seemed to believe I was totally uneducated. I hate when someone is patronizing toward me. An okay library, but I have been to much better.
Helpful, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Great selection of books and magazines, programs for children, book groups for adults, computers for public use, and high-speed wifi. Open 6 days a week.nThere is also an active Friends of The Library group you can join. The Friends run a used bookstore where mint condition books can inexpensively be purchased and sponsor programs. Open six days a week.
If you're looking to get work done don't bother coming to this library. The staff is CONSTANTLY having loud conversations without regard for others, with people stopping in or other staff. It doesn't matter who, the staff here are rude enough to loudly fill the entire library with the echos of their voices for a half hour or more at a time. It is impossible to get anything done when the staff are as astoundingly rude as these people are.
