Nice place that is worth stopping by even if you’re not much of a reader. They offer a much larger selection of books than I imagined. They also carry other items such as games and cards. I was even able to find a Washington, CT shirt to commemorate my trip.

What a lovely small town bookstore. Parking is a bit confusing because it's a curved parking lot, but sufficient parking so no issue. Friendly, helpful staff and easy online ordering for in-store pickup.

Fun bookshop and was able to purchase a number of Christmas gifts (books, puzzles, coloring books) for our young grandchildren and unique books for our grown up kids. Highly recommend

I wanted every book on display. They have lots of other interesting things. Like playing cards?, calendars. They even had walking sticks for sale.

By far the worst I have ever been treated in a store. I walked in Quietly after the farmers market with my extremely well behaved 3 year old and was immediately chased down by an older woman who scolded us for not using hand sanitizer that was tucked away on a small tv table without a sign. We happily obliged. She then asked if my son was at least 5. I asked if he had to be 5 to be in this bookstore and she said no. She then said there were Other kids in the store that were older than 5 and we couldn’t look at the children’s stuff until they left. I thought it seemed odd as the children’s section is not small and we could easily socially distance. When the other children walked out we walked in and She then had another Older woman walk into the kids section and follow us around the entire time. When another family came in she came up to us telling us there were more kids in the store indicating that we should leave. At no point in time were we unable to social distance. This completely ruined our quiet Saturday mornings that we spend in what is typically a quaint friendly town.
