The shopping center is home to Stop & Shop, JCPenny's (Closing in 2020), GNC (Closing in 2020), Moon Star Chinese Food, Vientiane Thai Restaurant (Very good food), Lumber Liquidators, a liquor store, a bank, a nail spa, and an out of business Taco Bell. The smaller stores in the center have changed throughout the years. Be aware that the shopping center is close to the center of town, so you can expect riffraff hanging around on a daily basis. I've been asked numerous times by strangers in the parking lot for money at this location and I regret giving it to them because they usually ended up at the liquor store in the plaza. It's also had it's share of crime throughout the years, so be careful. With that said, the lighting could be better at night and the center is handicap accessible.
Several shops here have gone out of business including JCPenny which has been there since I grew up here in torrington
I hate they are going out of business! But it was always very hot in there
