My hearing started failing 30 years ago. If my memory is correct, I started with Vibrant Hearing when it opened in Missoula about 20 years ago. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. More recently, my hearing has deteriorated to a level that almost qualifies for a cochlear implant, and at this level, what's needed is much more than simple amplification. The newer aids can be programmed to match specific ranges and types of hearing loss, and I'm grateful to Vibrant for knowing what's available and effective for me. Technical competence is important, but I also know they take cost into account, so they don't suggest every upgrade as soon as they appear. The aids I have now have essentially made it possible for me to use an iPhone. Without that improvement, I've been very much isolated, so that even the simplest communication was an ordeal for me and for the person I'm speaking with. Of course I can write and text, but, these days especially, speaking on a phone of any sort is part of everyday life.nIt's wonderful to work with people who actually care and who also know what they are doing. I have been using vibrant hearing for my hearing test and hearing aids for around 7 years. Helen Hallenbeck, has been taking care of me all these years. She is very personable and helpful. I couldn't ask for better. Today Jennifer Hartze checked out my hearing, once again I couldn't ask for better service. I really appreciate all the folks at this very well run business.
