I really thought this library was very nice. My family of five spent about an hour here as we ate lunch in town. The staff seemed pretty nice although I could see how the older gal who work upstairs could be a little crusty. The kids area downstairs was nice. There were two iPads with educational games and lots of space for activities and the lady that work down there was really helpful. I also thought the architecture of the library was unique and kind of an additional feature to look at.
The lady at the front desk was extremely rude to me today! Sorry that my two month old son isn't quite and likes to make sounds! Maybe be a bit more respectful instead of looking at me all rude. I think I would rather drive me and my children to Albias library them EVER go back to this place.
Centerville Drake Public Library isn't awesome monumental Library while in town you must stop in and see the newly remodeled Library it is wonderful!!
Really cool Library if you have any extra time you should look around
This place is always so loud . there are always people talking loud at the front desk, or in the office, that its hard to keep your mind on what your reading, or watching. Its a LIBRARY! Your supposed to be quite. I'm I wrong? I learned when I was a kid to never talk loud in a LIBRARY, or hospital. I guess I'm a loser , and I better stay out of the LIBRARY where its just a social event where people come to talk . Mr.Drake would be rolling over in his grave if he knew what the place has become.
