AMC Southington 12

Pre-ordered tickets AND reserved the seats. Couple days prior to going to see movie. Purchased food and drink and went to ticket checker. Checks my ticket and sends me to a movie that's already been playing for 50 minutes. I go back and they verify multiple times the theater number and that I was at the right location. Then they finally realize that my showtime of 4:50 was CHANGED to 4:20!!????!!!! Unbelievable. We ended up getting into the 4:20 movie time but missed parts of the beginning. They did give me complimentary tickets for next time....I guess I'll have to take my chances next time and order tickets in line like normal and hope that something doesn't sell out. First time ever going to an AMC and not a good impression.

They did not allow my 17 year old to stay and watch an r rated movie ( the empty man ) .unless I stayed with him .. was extremely frustrating driving from out of town and being inconvenienced by this . . I did not think this was a good business move considering the movie theaters need all the customers it can get after covid. . Took him to another theater and gave my busy to them with no problem . Extremely disappointed.

Would not allow my 17 son to watch a rated R movie ( The Empty Man ) . Even after I came inside to give permission and purchase the tickets. They told me I have to stay with him . Extremely disappointed since I had to drive fr out of town to go there .. the girl who refused our business didn't look old enough to watch the movies either . . I feel this is extremely bad for business when the theaters industry is suffering for business during this to time.

My experience here was a good. We enjoyed the move in what amounted to very comfortable seats.nI Had the hugest popcorn ever here and then on top of that, I signed up for some kind of stubs reward program and got a free refill. Am I crazy or is that a lot of popcorn?nIt is/was a lot for sure. Perhaps too much. I ended up with some medical issues a short time later, but I survived. Moving forward, I will not be eating any more popcorn... ever.nThe theater was nice in appearance and looked clean. The staff was nice an friendly. There was plenty of parking, so no issues there.nI can't say enough good things about this theater.nGood times!nWord of caution; Eat popcorn with caution. I gotta find a new snack...

AMC Southington 12 was a great experience. Walking in I immediately noticed multiple employees working at the concession stand. The lines moved at lightening speed.nI was able to buy my ticket online, and choose my seat beforehand, so there was no delays with that either.nBathrooms are clean, and they don't smell like stale urine (like others I have visited in the past).nTheater itself was clean and not overcrowded. There's enough choices of seats where you can choose your ideal location to watch the movie. Also, recliner seats were like-new, comfortable, and in working order.nDefinitely will return, and recommend others follow suit. You won't be disappointed.
