just awesome in general, chill librarians, they have multiple 3d printers, just an all around good time
A great place for the whole family! The children's library is wonderful. No more fees for late books!
(CORONAVIRUS REVIEW ONLY, OTHERWISE GOOD) Horrible curbside pickup. We were running late for our hour slot and arrived 2 minutes late. They had already brought in the books and refused to get them or let us get them. We have to complete the survey AGAIN to get books TOMORROW. Would not recommended doing curbside pickup. I am a huge bookworm, having read the same books over and over again and finally getting the chance to get fresh books only to be turned down was very disappointing. I even cried.
So much available for families and kids. Plus, private study rooms and conference rooms.
Libraries are no longer simply a lovely place to find a great book or music to listen to. At Simsbury Public Library you also visit a place to learn new languages, hear variety of speakers in various subjects, learn new computer skills, meet for a class, or use the amazing inter library loan system to borrow material from libraries across the state. The people at the reference desk, lending desk and children’s department are all very knowledgeable and extremely friendly; they will make every effort to help a patron find the resource that is being looked for. In the winter a warm place to sit or for moms to get together while children play in the children’s area downstairs.
