After recently taking home samples for a few days on a trial basis, I then ordered 3 wooden shades at Calico Corners, 2 for one room and 1 for another room. They were installed about 8 weeks later at which time I realized one of them was made out of the wrong material so immediately called the store. Soon thereafter I went to the store with a sample of the rug in that room showing that I would not have ordered the shade that was made because it did not match the carpeting. I spoke with Maryanne who accepted responsibility and handled this problem with courtesy and professionalism. The shade is now being remade, the other one removed and the new one will be installed upon completion. For me, this kind of customer service deserves recognition. A business run with a goal of customer satisfaction is one to which I will return and refer friends.
