Good layout in store. Not exactly the cleanest market. It's do-able,but they really should improve on the cleanliness of the market. Otherwise, good prices,and good food.
Does anyone remember the name of the florist that used to be in this plaza? Was located towards the end where Friendly’s was. Thank you!
I'm sorry to say that this will be my last review of LOCAL MARKET.nAs of September 30 2019, they closed their doors.nThis was a great place for getting quality and at a fair price.nAssociates were always friendly, polite and helpful. I don't always find this in the other brand name grocery stores , and feel that I pay more for the same quality of product.nIt's location in the center of newington, made it accessible to almost all residents, and in many cases, within walking distance.nThey were Senior citizen friendly, offering a discount on Tuesday.nI will truly and sadly miss this grocery store.
Just great!
Closed now but had the best meats and seafood.
