This is a great comic store. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Good selection of new and old comics. They have lots of other cool items here as well. This is a great place to take a kid and bond. My kid brother, whom is nine years younger than I am, still has great memories of him and I going to comic stores and conventions.nWhen my son was a kid, the owner would give him good deals. This was at the old location on the other side of the building. They have since moved and are near the cake place, no longer neighboring the pizza restaurant.nComics are a fantastic way to get a kid into reading, that otherwise may not be all that interested in it. I would think with all the movies that are comic based, there should still be some heavy interest in comics, both Marvel and D.C. alike.nGood times...nK-Lap
Eye Opener is a well organized, well run local comic shop with a good selection and a helpful and professional staff. I highly recommend Eye Opener for your local comic book needs.nnThis is also perfectly located for CCSU students who may be looking for a new comic shop.
I love that they have many previous comics besides new release for incredible prices. You can spend hours and always find something you like.
