Do not miss an opportunity to see this beautifully restored building! We had a local who worked there take us through including Senate & House areas. Read up to get some history if you’re doing a self-tour but I recommend a guided tour. Stunning from marble bottom to copper top!

Montana State Capitol Building is a beautifully ornate building. A walk through the State Capitol, through the many corridors, and up the staircases is a walk through the History of the Great State of Montana. I've selected a few photographs of our visit. I recommend driving by at night to snap photos. It’s really peaceful and quiet. You can take a picture at the steps out front fairly easy. Great tourist must do.
Great place to visit. Lots of art to enjoy. My toddler loves going up the big staircase and down the elevators. We can see the done from our house and it is always beautifully lit up in the evenings.
