Luna Pizza - West Hartford

So, I live just around the corner from Pepe’s in Elmwood. Today we had a hankering for some high quality pizza...we tried calling and they directed to their website, where they show us the possibility of a pepperoni pizza but no way to order it, due to a “pepperoni” shortage. We decided to go with Luna and we were not at all disappointed. They had everything we needed —pepperoni included. We walked in and had a beer while we waited to take out our pizza. Crust was excellent, sauce was a little sweeter and the pepperoni was a bit spicier than expected but delicious. We got a small pizza (in addition to the medium pepperoni) with loads of toppings and it was delicious (and the crust was not burnt). We are new believers. Thanks, Luna. We will be back.

yesterday night August 7 2020, we went to Luna Pizza for the second time, I must admit that the pizza is delicious and the chicken wings the best we have had in Connecticut, for that reason we returned with some more friends and their daughter, recommending the place, but unfortunately the waitress who was serving on the terrace has not the slightest idea of ​​being a waitress, first when we saw that all the tables were occupied and we decided to go in, in an unfriendly way she told us that they were at the limit of capacity so we decided to wait outside for a table to be empty. immediately two tables were empty we decided to sit at one while the waitress came to our table, but when she saw us seated she decided to ignore us and start to clear the other tables, we spent ten minutes sitting at a dirty table, when my friend decided to go in to ask if someone could wait at us, then the same lady arrived with a rude attitude to tell us that we had to put on the mask to order, to which we have no problem but we had been waiting for more than fifteen minutes for someone to attend us that we were already tired of using it, At no time did she come to greet us to apologize for the delay or ask us what we want to order, which caused a lot of discomfort at the table where we were and embarrassment with the people we were inviting to dinner. So I decided to go in and ask another waitress who was very friendly and very professional to please take our order because we really didn't want the other lady with her bad attitude to come closer to the table. very disappointed in the service or This lady has a problem with Latin people because from the moment we greet her we feel the bad energy and the bad disposition of her towards us. The recommendation is that they hire friendly people with a good attitude because they are the first image of the restaurant and she left a bad image in front of the people who were there for the first time.

First time here. Came with a couple friends, the pizza is very expensive but it was okay, the pizza had way more tomato sauce then cheese.nnThe cleanliness of the restaurant wasn’t what I expected that’s why I’ve given it two stars. There were two roaches crawling on the next table across from us and one dead under our table. So, I won’t be coming back here.

After being told our pizza would be ready in 50 minutes we waited and then drove up for curb side delivery. We called in to let them know we were outside. Twenty minutes later sitting in the car -no pizza. We called again were told to hold and then when the person answered we were told they would check to see if our pizza was ready. It was and it was brought out to us. It was cold! Eventually it had been sitting for some time. This was the worst experience ever.
