This is pretty much the place in the Ellington/Vernon/Manchester area to ride. For the most part it's easy to intermediate. You can do a lot of miles and connect to Gay City state park. A decent lookout towards Hartford.

Excellent and Challenging Mountain Bike Riding Area... Varied Terrain with more technical (versus flowing) trails...nSome Superb Stuntry, if you know the stashes... Good Long Climbs can be found (for Central Connecticut)...nTies into Gay City and other areas nearby...

Good MTB ride, with excellent views from the top once you make it the mountain. In terms of terrain, these rides tend to lean more towards trail, rather than XC.

Trails were not very distinct but had a good time anyways. Bring bug spray
