American Eagle has probably been the worst experience I’ve had. They take forever to answer phone calls and theyre customer service is horrendous. I’ve been with them for years and this is nothing new, it’s just that this was the last straw when I was trying to make a purchase and my card was declined even though I had well over the amount I needed. It took them 30 minutes to finally answer just to tell them that my purchase wasn’t fraudulent. I look forward to finding a new bank.

I love American Eagle. They are wonderful people. My Branch is West Main Plainville, but I also have conducted business @ main Branch in East Harford. Versatisfied

This morning I decided to cash my personal check at the Plainville branch (I wanted to go through the drive thru). So I arrive and am greeted by a not-so-friendly young lady. I told her I wanted to cash my check and she wouldn’t cash it in full because it’s a personal check.nHowever, I cash these SAME checks almost every week. I have done it at least 15 times.nSo I spoke with the manager and she told me the same thing. I could receive $200 immediately but I would have to wait 2 business days for the remainder to clear.nThis manager knew that I have been cashing these checks with NO issue but still refused to allow me to receive my cash in full. Why? I don’t know.nI have been a customer for 6 years now and this is how I got treated?nTheir customer service was extremely disappointing. This used to be my favorite branch! Now, I don’t think I will ever come back again.nAfter wasting 20 minutes of my time trying to reason with them, I finally decided to take my check back and go to the Farmington branch. And guess what! They gave me my money. No questions asked.nnMoral of the story: save yourself the headache and avoid the Plainville branch at all costs! ud83eudd2f
