Cost Cutters

Under staffed as usual. I decide to try this location again after a long break. Sorry I did. The stylish, Lisa, was doing her best bit she was alone so it wasn't her fault. Their excuse is always that a worker called in absent the last minute. Haircut was ok but the mens color didn't turn out so good.

I'm literally bald and have not received a haircut in 20 years. I do not recommend this place for bald people.

Great place to get hair done. Fair price, clean, fun and knowledgeable staff. Will be going there from now on.

Terrible customer service! Very unprofessional. Do not waste your time. When I walked in, the two employees looked disgusted and argued about who had to be stuck with another client (me!). I’ve never felt more unwelcome in a place that presumably wanted my business. Apparently their shifts were ending and they wanted to leave early (this was hours before closing). After watching them argue for 15 seconds, I told them I would leave if it was too inconvenient for them to do their jobs, and neither one even tried to stop me!! I will never be back, and I will warn anyone considering using this business of the poor work ethic and nonexistent customer service by the employees here. It was probably a blessing in disguise, because I fortuitously discovered a hidden gem nearby called Express Cuts. Staff is excellent, quick, and detail-oriented.nnIf this site had allowed me to rate Cost Cutters in East Windsor “zero stars,” or less than one star, I would have. The worst customer experience. Bar none.

They are way overpriced. I gave extra money in change to go towards the new fee they charge customers when they use their credit cards, and it wasn't counted into my credit card balance. I gave $4 towards the tip but my extra $1 and change disappeared as if I never gave it. It must've tipped the till. The hairstylist rung me up that day, the receptionist wasn't there. I called back Cost Cutters after it posted to my bank account, and the receptionist only asked for my name and said to mention it next time to the hairstylist to get a dollar and change off for it, Instead of offering to reimburse me right away when I'm in the area. I thought that was poor showmanship especially when it was still fresh on my mind. It wasn't just the money part that bothered me it was the principle. Also I think it's not fair that a wash and blow dry isn't included in their higher charges that seem to be going up. My husband and I always get a hair cut on the same day with the same hairstylist. P.s. I was also told if you pay in cash there is no fee only if you use your credit card. Never did I have to be charged for a fee when I had a service done like this before, the only other times I had to is when I have a promotional interest free for so many months with a company for a window I had installed and promotional checks; otherwise this is ridiculous. The only good score I can give Cost cutters is that the haircut comes out nice. They need to stop going up with their charges and offer more to their customers. Thanks.
