Mother Loyda, the parish priest, is softspoken and fluently bilingual (Spanish/English). The best part of both the English and the Spanish services are her sermons, which are always well thought out and often include a story. The first service has the organist and traditional hymns, the second has guitar and wind instruments. During the pandemic services are outside (weather permitting!) so the music carries across the lawn. The church itself is beautiful and each stained glass window is a story itself. There is a playground and a public garden, and more surprises can be found on her grounds! Looking around, you would never believe you are right in the heart of Hartford. ud83dudc96

Very nice people. They offer soup and maybe food around 1130am-1230pm I think are the times. Not sure if its everyday or not. They sometimes have clothing they give away too. It's a old old church. I like the architecture of the old building.

Family church years. Great to visit and spend time with those you love. Beautiful buildings with history from the 1800s.
