The manager Candy is BEYOND rude to both her workers and the customers. I made a simple request over the phone as to what bagels were left since it is later in the day and she refused to answer and instead kept asking how close I am and that I need to just go in person to look for myself. She stated the stock is “spars” so if that’s the case, how hard is it to tell me what’s left so I don’t waste my time going in there. I’m sick and tired of this miserable woman. I love the bagels and food here but she has made it so I no longer want to give them my business. She needs to be fired, and mandated a sensitivity class, or therapy because something is seriously wrong with this woman. I will be contacting her superior.

I normally don’t review restaurants but I feel as I really have to with Lox Stock. On certain days the service you get is outstanding. Other days the place makes you want to run out the door. Weekdays everything runs smoothly when a specific employee is there. I won’t say her name because I would hate for this review to affect any backlash against her. The girl can multitask like her life depending on it. She’s extremely polite with a smile on her face the whole time. She makes sure everyone is content with their order. During this pandemic that’s going on and seeing that business is possibly slower, I’ve realized that she takes her time to even ask the customers how they’re doing and waits for an answer so with her it’s never a rhetorical question. With how she behaves with customers calling them by their name and asking if they want the usual, I know she’s genuine and has a good heart. I’ve noticed how well she recalls their usual order. I’ve seen with my own eyes how she starts preparing customers order, including mine the moment she sees you in the parking lot. Weekends, there is no consistency or interest to keep customers happy. I’ve called on weekends ahead of time to make sure my order is correct, still to no avail. I’m always missing something or my simple egg with cheese and a hash brown turns to bacon egg and cheese or sausage egg and cheese. Manager is definitely a work of art. Rude and demanding. I called to let them know I was outside to pick up order and she literally yelled at me meet her at the door didn’t even wait for my reply said thank you and hung up on me. I went to the door no one was there and when I opened the door she said, “it’s on the table right there”. I grabbed my order and walked out. On several occasions I’ve witnessed the manager yell and curse at the employees in front of customers. That is completely uncalled for and disrespectful. I don’t know how they stay after her disrespectful, and inhumane treatment. I guess I’ll be only be going in weekdays early in the morning to receive the amazing customer service that is deeply needed during this time of difficulties for everyone.

This place is absolutely amazing. The bagels are amazing. I had the cheddar jalapeno bagel with sausage egg and cheese. For a bagel shop this is the place to go. I would highly recommend going for any and all of your bagel needs.

Called to place an order today. When asked if I wanted to pay over the phone I was a bit taken back because I was previously told if I wanted to pay ahead and wanted curbside pickup I should order online by and employee whose name begins with an E several weeks ago. I couldn’t remember her name until I had to walk in with my boyfriend today to get a refund because I paid over the phone and yet Erica charged my boyfriend again. The employee by the name of sammi didn’t even know what she was doing or understand that I paid over the phone. Another employee, whom I believe took my order literally jumped in gave me my refund and told them that she gave them my receipt with the order. She apologized for the mistake which I appreciate but seriously management has to have control of how they manage the place because all these mistakes by employees who seem to only be there to collect a paycheck are getting outta hand. It seems like whenever we go the younger one’s are either standing around watching MTV or having personal conversations while the older ones or employees that have been there for quite sometime are doing prep or inventory. My low review is strictly for poor customer service by the younger employees.
