I had a terrible experience with this cleaner. Not only did it lose my clothes but it also ruined a beautiful dress. The owner was unwilling to compensate me fairly for it. I was told that their insurance deductible was too high so they would not put in a claim and at the end it was simply my problem. This cleaner is arrogant and neglectful. Do not take that chance!

I've been using State Cleaners consistently and often for the past seven years. I have never, ever had a problem with them... and their service is excellent. They do everything onsite (laundering, tailoring, pressing)... and are quick and convenient. They make a real effort to make the process of dropping off and picking up as painless as possible.

We have been delighted customers for many years. Great cleaning, tailoring and pressing. The owner saw my son's US Marines uniforms in the cleaning process and (without knowing the customer's identity) waived all charges. State Cleaners is a real Westport community gem.
