I went into the Westport DWR store to order 2 Nelson pendent lamps. Marcelo stated that one model was out of stock but then stated another was in stock. I purchased 2.nnA week later they sent an email to say they were in fact out of stock of the model Marcelo informed me was in stock and as such the order would be delayed by 2 weeks. I just received another call today ( a week later) that the back order would take longer. Seeing that I now have had to cancel the electrician 2x, the electrician is not pleased with me and I need him to finish my kitchen which has no light.nnIn summary, for a company that sells items at full price, you would expect the service to be a lot better. I recommend people to window shop at DWR and then buy online where items will be delivered in a timely manner.nnI think what is upsetting is the fact that Marcelo stated the issue was not his fault. For someone who represents DWR, I am scratching my head as to how he can believe that misinforming customers is not his or DWR’s fault.nnI cancelled the order with Marcelo. Evidently that wasn’t clearly noted as the reply from the owner evidences.
