Went on a trip with my girlfriends to Iceland for the Northern Lights Tour with Rene earlier this month and was a wonderful experience. The tour allowed us to hit all the southwestern Icelandic highlights. We had a good time with the rest of the group. The evenings at the farmhouse was wonderful. We loved the add on Glacier Hike and Blue Lagoon experiences as well. Our local tour was with G Adventures and was very well organized.

Recommended by a friend, this was a wonderful tour. It was delightful from the first until the last moment. We loved the country (Iceland), the natural sites shown to us, the activities (Northern Lights watching, glacier walking, hikes to hot springs and geysers, The Blue Lagoon) and the time we spent there. I thought the tour was well planned and I loved it that Rene took care of everything for us.

In addition to my praise, the dozen+ people I've referred to Grand Explorations have all had amazing experiences! Customer service, attention to detail, amazing itinerary arrangements, special treatment at the destination, etc.! Its been a home run every time. This is NOT your run-of-the-mill, crummy travel agency.

Grand Explorations put together the most wonderful Iceland experience. Unforgettable. Great mix of activities, fabulous farmhouse and city visits.
