From the first inquiry about flight lessons and all the way up to my checkride and beyond, I can say without any doubt that Avia Flight Academy is the premier flight school in the Fairfield County area. They are pilot owned and their instructors have varying industry experience. The schedule flexibility and large fleet of aircraft made scheduling a breeze. All of their aircraft are extremely well maintained and clean. The pricing is very competitive compared to other flight schools in the region. Avia has built a tight knit community and fosters a family feeling rather than the traditional uptight corporate feeling. Great flight school with reasonable pricing and very friendly staff
Avia is a solid Flight school with Safe, affordable aircraft and instructors that were born to fly. Mike is a great teacher, I think he spends more time in the air than he does on the ground. They also have a sim at the office.
