great sandwiches, bagels, soups and homemade salads. go here at least 2 times a week for lunch or breakfast sandwich. Friendly staff, fast!
First time visiting! I did not enjoy the smoothies or the bagel I purchased. It was a little over priced for the items.
I don't normally frequent downtown Bridgeport, but when I had jury duty a couple years ago I stopped here for a bagel. The other day I had to get my nephew to school so I remembered this place was good. I asked if they had anything on the menu with no meat (he's vegetarian) and there was one thing, so we got that for hom to bring to lunch. It was cream cheese, veggies, looked pretty good. No complaints. Also got a muffin for breakfast. About 9 bucks. The place was fairly clean, not that busy when we got there, only 1 other patron. If I had reasons to be downtown, This would be my spot over the Dunkin donuts. It's pretty cozy inside. Im sure it gets busy once city hall opens, but this early (7am) it was pretty nice. I've never had a bad bal at bagel king. Wish I had pictures! Guess I have a reason to go back!
It's nice friendly place to grab a quick bit to eat
Went there today ordered a coffee small light and sweet also ordered a bagel with cream cheese the bagel was very good I have to admit one of the best I've had but the coffee look like they put a splash of milk and no sugar and I specifically asked them was this light and sweet and they said yes so needless to say be careful when you get your coffee cause once you leave you probably won't go back I had to throw mine in the garbage.
