Showed up at about 9:40 PM to get ice cream after a long day, and an extremely rude employee looked at me from outside the door and told me to leave. I was polite and insisted that they weren't listed to close until 10:00 PM but he coldly dismissed me. Looking at the other reviews this is a common problem. The entire staff including management needs to be terminated immediately. They have no business working in food service or with customers. Absolutely atrocious. Considering these people work until closing they are denying dozens of potential customers and losing money for their business. The absolute worst. I don't care if its Dairy Queen or McDonald's but please if you want ice cream, bring you business else where.

Their website online said they closed at 10 pm. My friends and I arrived at 9:20 pm to get some ice cream, as soon as we pulled in all the lights were on and the open sign was lit. As soon as we got to the door they turned off the open sign and locked the front door, they just stared at us and waited for us to walk away. Completely rude and uncalled for. They never said a word to us.

Me and my daughter got icecream tonight. She got a waffle cone I got a waffle bowl. The Cones where so stale we felt like we would gonna break my teeth eating them. It was gross. We should of walked out when we seen the Thanksgiving Turkey icecream still on display in January. Does not look like they get rid of anything when it's old and outdated. Probably a health hazard.

I've always loved Carvel since I was a child and this location is no exception. With their lovely assortment of flavors such as their Reeses' and Maple Walnut, it's always a difficult decision when deciding what flavor to pick! The staff was very friendly and willing to help me out whenever i had any questions or wanted any samples of flavors. In addition the store also had a very nice selection of handmade ice cream cakes that were made in-store. How awesome is that?! I'll be sure to make a stop here the next time I'm in Stratford. 'Til next time Carvel.

I have had many great experience at carvel,staff is generous they greet me as I walk in. The girl with short hair always have a big smile on her face, makes me feel that she really enjoy her job. All and all great place to go for ice cream.
