The American Pie Company is our favorite bakery/eatery in Connecticut. The baked goods and meals are excellently prepared and are delectable. The service personnel emit a friendly and comfortable atmosphere and are efficient and caring. Being a Certified Executive Chef and Culinary Educator, I am very happy and proud of how Audrey, a former student of mine, and her business partner Bill have made this establishment into a must go destination. We give this establishment five stars!
Food was good but a bit pricey, waitress was outstanding. We came looking for great pie. I like a light flaky crust. I had the strawberry rhubarb. Filling was great, combination of sweet and tart as it should be. Crust was a bit thick and heavy for my taste. Pie was very good but not the great as I expected. It was still worth the drive
We love the American Pie Company. We usually do breakfast here, yet they do offer lunch and dinner dining as well. Inside and outside dinning. Food is homemade, unique selections, good portions and great service. So many delicious options! They also offer fresh bakery items and takeout. I recommend American Pie to all my clients!
My son and I visited Lovers Leap state park and was referred to this restaurant by locals. Omg!!! You cant go wrong at this restaurant. The best French onion soup, the most tender sauerbrauten and spaetzle. We got slices of pie and cupcakes and a frozen chicken pot pie to go. The workers were so friendly and kind. Such delicious food and great people. Whenever in the area, must go!!
Wonderful food. Wonderful service. Our waiter was very nice and took excellent care of us. The eggs were fresh and perfectly prepared. All the food was very good. We will have breakfast there, again tomorrow.
