When I enrolled in June 2020, I was told NO COMMITMENT. I decided to quit in Nov. due to the rise in covid cases and the gym does not enforce wearing masks to all members. Some don't wear a mask. Derby told me I cannot quit becuase it is a 12 month commitment. Not what I was told when signing up. Regardless what the sales rep tells you, READ what you are signing.... I then asked to suspend my membership due to covid, I was told The Edge no longer suspends memberships. Buyer Beware.... Also, the facility was very unprofessional and argumentative. A big disappointment. I'll handle this another route.

Has everything you need good hours clean nobody bothers you and you can get a good workout also has good classes

My boyfriend and I have been members at the Edge for years. An employee Roe, who was off duty, got into an argument with him, took her mask off and started screaming and cursing at him because he was on his cell phone for 2 minutes. She then proceeded to walk around the gym trying to get men she knew involved as if to recruit them to confront and possibly fight him. I was scared for his safety and nervous the men would attempt to follow us to our car. She carried on for almost 10 minutes. I don’t care if she was off duty she still represents the edge in Derby. It was beyond disappointing that an employee would behave in such a way. We have both now quit the gym and will take out business elsewhere.

I have been a member at Edge Fitness in Derby for years. This past March 1st, my husband and I purchased annual memberships. Two weeks later covid shut down the club. When the club opened June 17th, I called and spoke to management saying that due to our medical situation, neither my husband or myself could come to the club.nI asked for a refund less the two weeks in March due to medical issues related to Covid. I was told that I would get a full refund. That was seven weeks ago; I have called and emailed and have spoken to numerous EDGE employees but I have YET to receive my refund.nIronically, one time that I called, I was told that the manager was out for several weeks due to a sickness (COVID??).nTerrible customer service!
