Went to a midget game on the 8th. They insisted that we sit in the restaurant to watch our kids on the ice. Most people didn't wear masks. I asked if I could go to the balcony or stand in the rink by the glass. Nope. Like that is somewhat more dangerous than being put into a restaurant, OR, they wanted to bring more business to the restaurant.nnI'm not against bringing business but getting stuck in the restaurant seems a little contrived at best.nnGuess what happened on the 12th? You guessed it. I had symptoms that were later confirmed as covid. I've been so careful up to this point, and I'm watching my other family members slowly get symptoms, so they will be in quarantine for a long time.nnI will add that I have not been anywhere before of after for a few daysnnIf you read this, reverse your policy and allow parents to spread out safely in the rink. Parents may buy food after after the game to support the owners but do not force patrons to sit in the restaurant if they do not want to.
Great enforcement of covid rules.
The food we had for breakfast was really good and very affordable! Great staff in bar/restaurant! If staying in the area, skip the hotel breakfast included in your rate..go here for fresh eggs, potatoes and meat..plus a great menu with other kid friendly and adult preferred foods. Take in a hockey game by the Elite Connecticut ROUGHRIDERS!!
Could be better, but still good
Nice place to enjoy with family. Staff needs to be more friendly, you ask question and is like you are bothering them specially the teens working there.
