I went today. What a BEAUTIFUL experience - from Mark at the entrance to the site itself. I love Modern architecture. I was expecting The Glass House. I had no idea the breadth of the site (90 acres) and how many buildings Johnson elegantly placed on it. Such a gorgeous way to spend the day. Take the train from the city or drive. It took me just one house to drive from The West Village.

What a gorgeous place! It is so artistic. So pretty. So relaxing. Definitely worth a trip. Bring snacks and water.

Modern out door museum, due to COVID-19 all indoor space are closed. But the outside are perfect for you to walk around and enjoy the simplicity and modern architecture.

Great day trip from the city! Beautiful history and the staff was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Great for photographers and architecture lovers alike

A truly amazing structure and combination of architecture and landscaping. I would plans to spend 30 minutes here if you want to just see the glass house or about an hour if you want to see the entire grounds. I found some buildings like the ghost house and library to be a little lackluster. The lake pavilion is interesting, provided a bit of shelter from the rain and offered a different perspective of the glass house. It would be fun to take a dip in the pool! The location on google is the gift shop, my entrance ticket during COVID took me straight to the House with the address in your email confirmation.
