This is a convenient location at the intersection of two state roads, Monroe turnpike (state route 111) and Shelton road (state route 110). The state department of transportation just finished putting up a new round_about at this intersection and it looks pretty sharp, in my estimation. They had to construct it in a certain way because this is in the Monroe historic district and this town is a quintessential New England town with mostly mom and pop shops and lots of charm and character.

Beautiful church, friendly congregation! And from what I can see, a powerful youth program. I visited for my niece’s confirmation. It was a wonderful experience.
