This is a topnotch local business that must be visited if in the Greenwich area. I am an out of town Numismatist & had the pleasure of stopping by and I am glad that I did! I was blown away by the professionalism & knowledge of the proprietor. He had a vast array of inventory. The store is impeccably clean & organized. I made several purchases to add to my personal collection. Additionally, I was thoroughly impressed with how the owner interacted with a customer coming in to sell a coin to him. Completely honest and fair! The Happy Coin is the blueprint for how local coin & collectible shops should be operated!

I visited Chris when I decided to shift some of my investment in silver into other assets. I was very happy when he told me that he would pay more than spot price for my silver eagles. I called around to find out who would pay the most for constitutional silver and Chris was at the top. When I call to make an appointment, he sets me up with the best time for me. And I love to leave with a nice big check!

I was looking for a local coin shop and took a ride over to Cos Cob on a Wednesday not knowing that it was closed, well Chris was there & buzzed me in, we talked for 5 minutes and I said that I’d come back on Friday and I’m glad I did! Chris is very friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with, and he has some great items in the store! I’ll definitely be back!

Two excellent experiences with Chris, who is knowledgeable, friendly and easy to deal with. Great resource for appraisals of almost any type of coin, jewelry or luxury good. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get information, buy or sell. Definitely check it out if you have a chance.
