Excellent dentist for children, wish I could have gone as a child, wish I could go now!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr Stacy and Dr Emily. We have finally found a dentist that my son is not petrified to go and see. On our first appointment Dr Stacy and her team took over an hour with my 5 year old . At previous dentists they would hold down my son which i did not like. With Dr Stacy and her team they take the time to talk to my son, help him understand what is happening and have patience for him to process everything. The entire team is kind, considerate, and understanding. Will 150% continue to drive 45 minutes to see Dr Stacy and team.

Our family absolutely loves you Dr. Stacy and your team! We finally found a dentist who has patience and is supportive towards kids who are on the spectrum. You were great with us and Mia and we are so happy we found you. I am so grateful for all you have done with Mia and her teeth. Thanks again!
Max's Dad (11/03/2017)
My son Max is a 30 year-old young man with cerebral palsy. He’s in a wheelchair and has contractures. He does not like seeing the dentist, although he’s had his required treatments over the years. These have always taken place in an operating room, with an anesthesiologist on hand to put him to sleep for the procedure. We’ve never been successful treating him in a dental office.nnMax’s dentist retired and we had to find a new one for an exam and routine teeth cleaning. I was aware that Dr. Stacy had a special needs population among her patients, so I called her office about an appointment for Max. I explained our inability to treat him in a dental office to the office assistant and asked if there was some way we could go right to the hospital part to save time and stress for Max. The assistant was kind and explained that first visits occurred in the office and that Dr. Stacy would decide what to do from there. I reluctantly agreed and thought it was at best an opportunity to get the paperwork out of the way. As it turns out, I was quite wrong about that.nnMax and I arrived at Dr. Stacy’s office and discovered it to be spacious and brightly lit, with cool items and colorful graphics everywhere. The previous patient was just leaving and while we were waiting, I realized that Max was the sole patient in the office for his appointed time.nnHe was greeted in the large treatment bay by Dr. Stacy and five assistants. The first order of business was a complete oral exam. Max was sitting in his wheelchair surrounded by the treatment team. Dr. Stacy directed Max’s attention to the large flat screen TV attached to the ceiling and gave a signal to the team. With all hands on Max, he quickly opened his mouth, the mouth rest was put in place and the exam began. Tooth by tooth, Dr. Stacy counted, probed and evaluated their condition and called out an assessment for each, which the office assistant was writing down as she spoke. The entire exam was completed in 90 seconds. It was coordinated, practiced and thorough; it looked like an NFL quarterback and team executing a play.nnNext up was the cleaning. This was accomplished in the same manner as the exam, with several breaks in the action when Dr. Stacy decided that Max needed one. This also went quickly and very well. Clearly, this team has done this before, many times. They are a smooth bunch of operators.nnNo problems had been identified in the exam but we still needed to get a set of x-rays to rule out any cavities between the teeth. Dr. Stacy thought Max had had enough for one day and we scheduled a follow up appointment for that. When we were back in the van I told Max that this appointment was a lot different than my expectation and asked him how he liked Dr. Stacy and her team. He lacks speech but I got that big smile of his. It’s his version of a big thumbs-up. Many thanks go to Dr. Stacy and her team. We’ll be back.
