I am not only a combat veterans wife, but a huge supporter of the Vet Center in Kalispell. The counselors there have helped my husband and I both with transitioning out of the military lifestyle into the civilian world. The resources they have given us are a godsend when it came to getting my husband set up with his medical care. The groups they offer there have introduced my husband to a sense of comradery that he was missing, and he is able to be around other men that are going through the same things me really and physically. They offer fun group hikes, weekends away for the veterans at Camp Patriot and just last winter I got to with my husband to big mountain and go snow boarding with Dream Adaptive. They truly are amazing there and are a great group of people that care about helping the veterans here in our little Flathead Valley.
