Went to our towns police to help install our grandson's car seat. No one was certified. Contacted other local town's like Trumbull but only services town residents. Called Fairfield and they had us come down immediately and had in installed and certified in 15 minutes! Great officers, great work and great service to the community
I paid 6k for a lawyer because of a threat I didn't make
A few encounters in 10 years. 1. When I call, they pick up, come quickly and address immediate the problem. However they don't continue to monitor loud neighbors at night. 2. When I was hit by another car, they came up quickly, but I was only given report number with no additional info and asked to pick up a report from the PD in 1 week. 3. I was fined for traffic light which just turned red, but never saw anybody else stopped for this offense. 4. Don't see enough police around and don't think roads are properly monitored for safety. Lots of revving motocycles and cars are deafening. Overall it is good enough, but could be better.
Always professional, polite and helpful. We are very lucky to have such an amazing and dedicated police force as an integral part of the community in Fairfield. Thank you for your service to the community!
I was here to get my fingerprint for a new job. They do this on Tuesday, Thursdays , and Saturdays. They were very nice. It took less then 5 minutes and I was out of the police station. The officer who took my prints was friendly. Parking is a little tricky because not clear where to park. I parked on side street and walked over.
