For shoppers who enjoy a department store experience, Lord & Taylor in Stamford delivers the goods! Everything is renovated, including the popular restaurant upstairs with its good menu and well prepared food. Everyone loves the shoe department, but for me nothing beats the great spread of lingerie, robes and sleepwear at this reliable store. Great sales, too!

I felt very uncomfortable yesterday while I was looking at some jewelry. I bought several expensive jewelry from this store however, the security guard was watching every time I moved, because of that I did not pick up a piece of jewelry. I understand it's their duty to watch people but they can be more tactful at this, I felt very uncomfortable...Matt at the Effy counter was very nice.. it is time people stop looking at people ethnicity not everybody wants to steal some of us have very good jobs and can't afford good jewelry

Congratulations on closing the Trumbull store. Hopefully the next business in there will have better customer service representatives.nnNot everyone was awful, maybe two or three employees cared about the job and the customers. Those in the fragrance/make-up department need to go back to basic training, that's how poor their service is! Go ahead and have your coffees and your chit chat sessions when it's not busy, but when you see a customer standing at a counter for fifteen minutes, take a quick break and check up on them. Then you can go back to your oh-so exhausting job.

Great service. Thing there are super expensive even though they are closing soon. But if u want it buy it.
