York College of Pennsylvania

Extremely expensive and overall a scam. A majority of professors were rude and unhelpful, and seemed as though they’d rather be doing anything else other than teaching. It also really reminded me a lot of high school in the way that you would get scolded like a 5 year old for being 1 minute late or missing an assignment. I once wanted to take a break one week because someone very close to me died, and literally nobody cared or showed me any compassion and I ended up getting failing grades for a bunch of things. Some of the professors would even brag about how many students fail their class. I ended up dropping out and transferring to a technical college. the professors at my technical college don’t even have any teaching degrees/certifications, and they are 10X better professors and overall human beings than the ones at YCP. If you are undecided I definitely encourage you to schedule a tour/meeting with the multiple technical colleges in/surrounding York or to just find a different college.

Old dorms need updated along with some facilities but most of the staff is top notch.
