With its homey atmosphere, warm and helpful staff, outstanding educational resources, historical exhibits, and community support programs, the Ligonier Library has become a popular destination for local residents and visitors alike, and a home away from home who those who seek entertainment of a more intellectually stimulating nature. I personally never pass through Ligonier without scheduling an extra hour or two for a leisurely and relaxing visit at this genuine community resource.

Beautiful library, and I loved that they were selling some of their books! We definitely bought a few.
Nice, local library located on the Diamond. Easy to find what you are looking for...helpful staff. I like that the children's section is on the same floor as the main library and computers. Easy to keep an eye on my children if I need to use the internet. Also Wi-fi available.nnAt Christmas time they have a tree decorating event for the children, St. Nick puts trinkets in one of their shoes, Santa visits and there are refreshments. One negative is that it's a little chaotic around the tree and not much organization with the kids. It's all hap hazard. My small son (6 yrs old) got kicked in the back by accident by a child that was older( maybe 10) and too big to be lifted to decorate a higher branch. It was an unnecessary incident that with a little bit of organization and order could have been prevented!nnOtherwise...no complaints!
