Great employees, but they didn't give enough time on the computer!

Great library, clean, great staff & service.

Every year theres a chilli cook off either inside the basement or outside on the front stoop. Its amazing. Its only 5 dollars to try a bunch of beans. The books here are in good condition. The staff are young, helpful and friendly. They have internet.nIt's a great library.

Be very careful... I was laid off for winter so with tight money my wife took the girls to the library for something to do. It was wonderful and they even came home with a DVD. My youngest daughter became ill and vomited on the DVD cover. My wife cleaned it but the cover sheet was ruined. Since it was just a black and white paper printed off a computer and not the original she put a note inside and I returned it. We received a letter in the mail saying we owed $15 for the missing cover sheet, I was out of town and my wife did not have $15. I called and told them I would pay in a week when I returned if they could make a note of that...went down when I returned the following week and paid them $15 for a paper they printed off their computer.... 2 days later I recieved a letter from magistrate, they were taking me to court.. not for a book or the actual DVD but a piece of paper....they printed off their printer...that I had already paid $15 for.. I went back to the library. The gentleman whom I paid a few days before assured me he would stop the paperwork and all was fine... 1 week later I recieve another letter, he never stopped the paperwork and now I'm responsible for $232 in court fees...over a piece of paper...black and white....THEY PRINTED!!!! Obviously the orginal was ruined and they replaced it.. So my wife's good deed for the kids to have something entertaining we could afford has now cost me $247.....Being new to Pa she was excited to have a library so close and involved with small children but because the employees obviously can't handle simple request, like making a note I would come pay the fine when I returned, and not mailing court papers when they say they won't, my wife won't go back because she feels lied to, like maybe they did it on purpose to get money, it's a shame when you can't trust a public library..
