We did the almost 8 mile loop. The Vista is way better than in the pictures. Someone here mentioned the bridges on Dennison run, they're so much fun! The hike wasn't particularly challenging.

Clear creek state forest Kennderdell tract is one of the best kept secrets in pa. There are lots of trails and not much in the way of crowds. I love the iron furnace hike and also Dennison run. The suspension bridges are worth a walk. River trail along the Allegheny is also enjoyable though rugged once you leave the gravel. I def recommend hiking here in this jewel of a forest
