Our Savior Lutheran Church

My wife and I visited on this Reformation Sunday. We had a very pleasant experience worshiping with them. We were greeted at the door and were encouraged to stay for their pot luck. Before the service, several other people came up and introduced themselves. The service was very spirited. The sermon was on the Old Testament Lesson of God renewing his covenant with his people by writing his law on their hearts (Jeremiah). We did stay for the pot luck and enjoyed the fellowship. There was a good mix of ages within the congregation. We will be back!

Very friendly people and great sermon!

I'm a full time RVer and have worshipped at Lutheran churches across the US. Since I might only be in any given town for a few weeks I can view the church from an outsiders perspective.nnThis is a very welcoming church. The service is projected and printed in the bulletin. When to stand or sit is announced for those who might not be familiar with the liturgy and protocol. I think that's an important accommodation to help someone feel like they belong. Visitors are invited to stay after service for coffee & snacks. This invitation is genuine and sincere, not just lip service. So, feed your soul with good worship and stay for fellowship. Plus, it's a pretty church and descent seating for your tushy.nnThis Sunday (6.10.18) I noticed they have headphones available for hearing challenged. This is the only Lutheran Church I've ever attended that offered this accommodation. WOW!
