I started taking lessons at a later age in life and was a bit hesitant to take one on one lessons. I had some reservations and fear that I could not learn an instrument at my age and would make a fool of myself and waste the instructors time. Well, 6 months later, I could not be more pleased with how things are coming along. Heath is an amazing teacher who will adapt to your learning style and speed in which you learn. He is ever patient and extremely encouraging. He made me feel comfortable since the first day I met him and I always look forward to my next lesson. He is very professional and a gifted musician and teacher. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn this instrument at any age or any level of playing.
Heath is the best instructor imaginable. He is so talented as an instructor and musician. My son has been going to him for around 8yrs. He is so patient and friendly. My son flourished when he starting going to him. My son also really likes Heath and Heath has been that extra ear during the trouble teen years. I can not recommend him enough.
Heath is incredibly knowledgeable about the guitar and music theory in general. I took lessons for over two years with him before I went off to college. I learned so much in that time. We learned songs that catered to my interests while still learning all of the basics. Heath instilled in me a love for practicing, playing, and performing on guitar. I would highly recommend him for beginners or more advanced players.
My daughter's piano teacher recommended Heath. I am so pleased that she has had the opportunity to learn from him --- His easy going nature paired with high quality instruction, modeling, and encouragement helped her grow as a musician and person.
Heath is a wonderful instructor. He is patient and kind and has a great sense of humor, all attributes that put a student at ease. Plus, he really knows his stuff...that's kind of important, lol. I'm really happy I found Heath and I highly recommend him !
